WaWa : Hmmm, this toothpaste has a familiar cool flavor that's similar to PaPa's mouthwash, MaMa's favourite peppermint tea, NaNa's favourite mint jelly and my favourite spearmint chewing gum. I wonder if they all contain a common ingredient…

Aha! I knew it! The common ingredient is mint!
Mint plants can grow up to 1.2 meters tall and can tolerate almost any condition. However, if you want them to grow tall and healthy, make sure they get more than enough water. Should you ever decide to grow your own mint, plant it in a pot because this fast-growing and highly-invasive plant can take over your entire garden if it is planted in soil!
It is no wonder that mint is also known as yerbabuena (meaning “good herb”) in Central and South America, as it can be put into a lot of good uses!
In the early days , mint was used to treat stomachaches and chest pains.
During the middle ages, mint leaves were used to whiten teeth.
Mint aids in digestion.
Mint essential oil is a common ingredient in perfumes and aromatherapy.
Menthol (obtained from mint oils) is a common component in medicines.
Campers and hikers often use mint to repel mosquitoes or treat insect bites.
Mint oil can also kill common pests like wasps, hornets, ants and cockroaches.
